Kokedama / Kusa Bonsai

My gardening career began in a small bonsai shop in Tokyo. Kokedama and Kusa bonsai were the beginning of my gardening roots and are still one of my favourite gardening genres.

※ Kusa bonsai is a smaller, more natural and informal collection of plants than bonsai. They are displayed as an addition to a bonsai display.

私の園芸キャリアは２５年前に都内の小さな盆栽ショップから始まりました。苔玉も草盆栽も私の園芸ルーツのはじまりであり、そして今も大好きな園芸ジャンルの一つです。ニュージーランドでは手に入らない材料も多くある中で、こちらで手に入る材料、植物、そしてこちらに環境に合った植物選択で、苔玉や草盆栽を制作をしています。
